I don't think it was to the level of Le Sserafim. Unsure if its because kpop social media got bigger but they receive hate for every little thing they do. The haters were even hating on them doing covers on their IG page

I think people forget that Aespa had a rocky start. I remember they received a lot of hate for not being good performers. Plus, many were singling out Giselle and it was very toxic. I am happy things are much better for her. It was annoying to see how many people hated everything she did and even saying stuff like group is better without her. I always feel for idols when they're singled out because it's always toxic and nobody deserves that.

Was that when they performed Savage on the floats in the freezing cold and were trembling and people were being so nasty about them

their singing controversy wouldn't have push so many people to turn their back

if media didn't start to upload "news" about HYBE stealing brand deal from Newjeans to give them to other GG, Hybe throwing away Gfriend for Lsrf, Newjeans debut being push back in favor of Lsrf debut

+ people taking some distance with Hybe group after seeing the documents where they criticize others kpop groups

the Hybe vs Ador situation throw gasoline, and even if Lsrf wasnt directly involve with all the things happening they end up being touched , and it touched them even more cuz they were already in the middle of a singing controversy

I would say i think Aespa hate was bigger

cuz Aespa have been singled out by kpop fans for no reason, and the hate just come from the fact that they were a group that could potentially be a threat to other kpop fans favs groups

more than the hate finding a "real" reason in a singing controversy, or their label using them as scapegoat in a controversy

I guess tough to decide who had it tougher, but both groups got undeserved hate. It sucks that Le Sserafim hate train caused them to turn off IG comments and other social media. At least their fans can communicate with them on weverse, but it's crazy they have to close off a line of communication to their fans due to threats and sexual harrasment from weirdos.

Hopefully they recover like Aepsa did because I feel talent will always overcome hate and both groups are talented

The Macy's Thanksgiving parade mess was SM mistake. Imagine telling your group to perform their song on such a tiny space.

Their hate train was one of the most ridiculous that I have ever seen. Haters had a field day with some weird conspiracy theories about their concepts before their debut. Then, they came for their talent when they are one of the most well-rounded group out there.

Yeah, it was an odd choice for a performance but I also didn't understand the big deal from kpop fans
