Since the nonKPop song sneaking in this list is just #5, people might wonder what is #1, and it is none other than
Frankly speaking, how many foreigners did listen to that song from an act created by a youtuber?
I don't know whether I am allowed to use harsh terms for an act like qwer. It is an unwelcome intrusion to the KPop scene, and given TBH has a whooping 1.8m views now, I doubt too many foreigners bothered to watch it.
After a decade of world domination and contention, the local scene in Korea chose qwer, an act which will never really gain international love, to have the #1 song in youtube Korea.
That shows a clear lack of appreciation on KPop by the locals.
Now KPop's Greatest Domesticist has shown foreign ambitions, the locals have abandoned her and made qwer, whose style does not copy to other countries, as their new champion.
It seems KPop has collapsed in Korea.
