The fact that so many of you have g idle in the running says tons about not betting against Soyeon anymore . With renewed contracts and probably more power at cube, I firmly believe Soyeon intends to show her producer side with a new gg. Maybe she will get the New Jeans girls to sign w her., lol

3. Meovv or KIOF or Gidle (depends on the song)
for the 3rd place, it's gonna be a battle between idle, kiof and meovv. the one with better songs will dominate, but i think meovv fandom will grow more and ultimatly, with proper production challenge the top 3 position and maybe even challenge aespa's place.
aespa will need to expand to the west more with a chill and cool english single as the next step in their carrier and possibly (hopefully) a coachella revenge. they would also need another top 10 korean hit song to scement their position further more.
newjeans will slay, and be indisputable number 1 and possibly even racing for the grammies.
becasue of SM history the expectation is that aespa is going to be sidelined becasue of SMNGG.. now when it's the time to expand globally they probbaly go to the basement... I try to keep my expectation low to not end up disappointed i guess..
as for newjeans I'm just curious to see what's end game here... so I have no real prediction

meovv can risk flopage as well without great music. (as rookie in an oversaturated market, good is not enough). and they need a more polished impactful concept as well.

I have a feeling Smngg won’t blowup until end of 2025
I think aespa, ive, gidle, Smngg and…… NJ! With the right moved NJ can ride on their legacy like how BP does every group comeback they just need to make smart choices 
I think BM can go either way as usually YG gg tend to blowup from debut so it’s hard to predict BM path. KIOF I see become Stayc level , maybe a better but not far off
ILLIT, LSFM, Meovv and Itzy can go either way depending on the songs and when they comeback
I dont know if there is any info or leaks available about smngg but I'm thinking they might have a chance if, new jeans is note able to release anything for a long time, and they are debuting with a very mild newjeans rip-off concept, not too obvious but a similar vibe, a bit more energetic but same girl next door spirit and strong aesthetics, i would like somthing like that

you're probably quite right about that... sm is inconsistant and unpredictable in terms of management at this point. it's very likely that they will prioritize the rookies aka riize and smgg. and in the worst case scenario, sideline aespa.
aespa already achieved so much, and sm might just not have the connections or the founds to promote them properly in the west. the most likely is that if aespa is given good songs they will do fine in 2025 but not necessarily great nor bad.
the basement is not really realistic, it's more likely aespa will get as last 2 combacks next year. but also unlikely that they will get as much push and music as they did this year. 2024 was truly a legendary run for aespa, unlikely to happen again in my opinion.
for ive, if they release a good catchy classic ive song, they might actually avoid flopping, but i don't think they will break the top 20 either (definitly not the top 10). for that, they will need a song at the level of Love Dive. and it's not impossible but still quite unlikely to happen
. basically, i think the hype for the group has died. they will need to be hard carried by their music at this point, same with Idle. -

yeah, if they have 2 more comebacks or maybe 1 group cb and karina solo (at least a single), I'll be completely happy with that
