BigHit Music appoints Shin Seon-jeong as their new CEO

  • Not everything is about your MHJ and you know well that MHJ brought what came upon herself with her plans documented in her chats. She is no victim.

Lol, what plans? The ones the court already brushed off during the injunction? Those? Yeah, she’s not a nice lady, we all know that. And what do you mean by 'your Mhj'? I was one of the first to cheer when Hybe wanted to remove her at the start of their feud. But over time, it’s pretty clear that Hybe’s trying to get rid of her without any solid proof. It's just full of useless talk and crazy mediaplays that being trusted by bunch of idiots.

And don't need to be pissed, I know you're not a company stans, so no need to be defensive at all. It's just me pointing out the pattern of the big evil corporation. Surely, by the third time, it's not a coincidence anymore. And it’s not directed at Bts or any of the artists under them, but at Hybe directly. We hate, company, right? So chill out.

  • Aside from potentially trying to remove the misogynistic label, it seems like BH appointed a person that their artist trust (which I guess they're trying to maintain after all the mess.)

Oh god, we need more Armys like you, the kind with whom many of us can peacefully have conversations without being accused of being Mhj followers.:drinktears:.

But yeah, I agree with you. Recently, they have done that to Pledis too, shortly after Seungkwan posted that Ig story showing his discomfort with the whole situation. Something’s definitely going on over there because, I don't think it's a coincidence that two ceos for both of their biggest groups got replaced by people the members are familiar with.

  • The timing is interesting. Of course all the ugliness going on with Hybe, that a person closely associated with BTS from their beginning is moved into a position with great power now that Jin and Hobie are out. Did they use some of their vast influence to oust the former CEO of BigHit, who was a gamer industry person and only joined Hybe 5 years ago. Just speculating. . .

  • Who has better visuals her or Min Hee Jin?

The former CEO got moved to a different position which overlook the domestic and Japan label. It is interesting that BH chose someone who had a part on training and choosing the members who debuted in BTS.

I didn't know that happened to Pledis.

Agree. I don't think its a coincidence that BH chose someone who the BTS members regarded as an guardian angel to be the new CEO.

Exactly and again this appointment and move could have happened 10 months ago or six weeks but timing may have been the catalyst with Hobie and Jin now both out and getting up to speed on who, what and where is going on in the last 18 months they have been engaged elsewhere. she obviously has a good/great relationship with BTS to have lasted this long and now with the rest of BTS under the 200 day window, this change feels to have some BTS maneuvers behind it.

I'm not sure but we do know that BH is currently having a discussion with the members about the group activities. I can't wait for all of them to be back in 6 months.

  • I didn't know that happened to Pledis.

It's wild. That ceo was running Hybe Label Japan, and then out of nowhere, he becomes the Ceo of Pledis too, so now he's got a dual Ceo role in two different companies, which is crazy. He was the Vp at Pledis before being move to Japan label and is super liked by the fans since he's the one who responsible in Svt's debut and managing them. He's also has a great relationship with the members. This all happened just about a week or so after that IG post, so it's pretty clear something’s off behind the scenes. Now it’s happening with BTS too... So it's interesting

  • BTS should disband to pursue solo careers. They are over 10 years already and that's enough. V, JK and Jin should leave the company to have better solo career since BH seems not care about their individual growth.

    1. That's one more reason for the Bangtan members to leave. The Bang-fans know. The fact that this woman is hear already means that it's over for this company

    2. Isnt' she close with Jimin? I wish for the other Bangtan members to leave HYBEㅠㅠ

    3. I hope that all the Bangtan members leave HYBE and sue Bangtan Gallery

    4. It's that person who was called "Jimin's guardian angel" and they are making her the CEO... This isn't funny. Can a person’s nature really change?

    5. Is this the woman? The one they called Jimin's guardian angel!

Jimin must be happy. She's been a founding member and held high-ranking positions, but now she's even the CEO!! Let's make sure your bias and the other members leave HYBE too!

"This person was one of the two protectors who protected Jimin at that time"

    6. Please let go of my bias. Let's cut ties with HYBE!

    7. I'm jealous of Jimin

    8. It's because people kept saying that HYBE was full of ahjussis that they are doing this

    9. There are so many talks because he was awarded at MAMA already and now the company doesn't even care about others' opinions anymore. Their fine tuning and adjustment will become even more severe. Please just leave HYBE

    10. Why are people calling Jimin "pitiful" here?
