What is the worst thing that ever happend at your work place?

    I had it today


    • I went to work, altho its the weekend, but well since we are a online shop, someone has to work on saturday or else we won't be able to finish to ship stuff in time and that wouldn't be good
    • When I finished most of my work, I saw a message poping up on my work phone, so I decided to check it in case it was something importaint
    • My boss contacted our work-chat group with a screenshot from a customer that contacted him earlier today
    • Apparently the woman bought a 1K € expensive doll
    • She attached images of the doll
    • The doll arived broken and she cut her hand by accidant when opening the package (apparently she even needed to get it stiched up)
    • My coworker who packed the doll was not there today but she might be in big trouble for that the package was not packed well enough, which cause the doll to even break

    What is the worst thing you ever encountered at work?

    I worked in an electronic scale for Truck trailers. I was in the night shift and three robbers enter passing the two of the morning. I panicked and i locked in the bathroom. The guys broke the door of the office, stole the money, my money, the pc, my laptop and the microwave. Fortunately, they ignored the bathroom.
    I was fired the next day, Apparently, my boss expected me to do more than just lock myself in the bathroom and call the police.

    To me it few years ago once some 12 - 15 years old girl tried to commit suicide by jumping from the third floor. Her mom was at next to her telling how much she and her family love her. Her dad was down catching her in case if she jumped down. At the moment somebody grab her coat, the girl jumped down over her father. I am not sure if her father or the girl got some damage, but everybody survived alive. That situation was really shocking.
