I didn't even like the name NewJeans, but obviously it's been so normalized I don't think anything of it now. I guess NewCrazy could potentially have become normalized too, but with how KATSEYE was formed and is currently marketed, NewCrazy probably wouldn't have worked. KATSEYE is just too iconic!

The girls thought also it were too ambitious. I think they probably understand it too. Originally it was Catseye, Lara suggested changing it to K and it became Katseye.
