Generally - yes, they are. However, there are entertainments with a good training system and management for girl groups which able to cut a slice of pie in the industry. It's better to do what you can do the best and avoid to do what you can't do.

Obviously, HYBE can't manage ggs, they even don't have a proper training system nor good scouting for perspective female trainees. Their mindset is "we can buy all", - not really. Money can't buy you a skill.

Bighit and Ador are apparently profitable.

Rn it's the investment in the other parts of the company that undermine it. I saw they used funds from Pledis to invest for games and also the America part?! (correct me if I'm wrong)

Those 1.99 usd cds are just cds in a paper jacket so I doubt those are expensive. I'm not sure of HYBE overalls profit but for BigHit they are because they are able to reduce their spending through sponsorships and they also have an artist with huge IP which earns them a lot of money.

They've BTS, that brand is alone carrying hybe. They can Collab with huge brands using this and earn alot more than what other companies make with literal comebacks. Like I'm pretty sure bt21 alone is making more money than some groups in hybe.

Plenty of companies are willing to loose money to buy market cap. Hybe is probably doing that.

Hybe is a conglomerate worth 6B USD, so duh.

They in business for last few years, therefor not at the level to bring in 1B in profit revenue yet, give it 10 more years. Around 7th gen, they be formidable with the big 3 of the west.

They're profitable but all Kpop companies are tanking in the market right now. That's due to down markets in general but I do think investors are starting to believe Kpop's biggest days are behind them.
