I just always wonder. They seem to employ a lot of expensive gimmicks for their groups to generate those 'numbers', like the $1.99 CD for LSF to get their US to higher numbers. I feel these gimmicks are too expensive with too lil returns?! Are they genuinely profitable? I'm really very curious. None of their hundred groops seem to be doing that good underneath all the playlisting.
Is Hybe profitable?

The fact that Mr. BANG is profitable does not mean HYBE is profitable, kekekeke
HYBE is doing well with boy groups, but totally incompetent with girl groups. Also, the management launched some stupid side non-music projects.
If I was CEO I fired all girl groups and side businesses, and start concentrating on boy groups only. -

Generally - yes, they are. However, there are entertainments with a good training system and management for girl groups which able to cut a slice of pie in the industry. It's better to do what you can do the best and avoid to do what you can't do.
Obviously, HYBE can't manage ggs, they even don't have a proper training system nor good scouting for perspective female trainees. Their mindset is "we can buy all", - not really. Money can't buy you a skill. -
