What would be the direction of BTS after 2025 ? Probably away from domestic field

  • It seems the ifans are aware of the great influence Lee Jieun wields at home.

But there is no reason for her to say anything since if she keeps her mouth shut, since no one in the 4th gen is strong enough to have an absolute dominance, she returns to power.

She has everything to lose by opening her mouth and everything to gain if she keeps her mouth shut. txt, LeSserafim and Illit have said nothing so there is no reason for her to jump in when she is not from the same company.

  • I was surprised to see that. Given the reputation of ARMY and the opinions like yours who kept saying IU is unknown outside SK.

That there are even i-fans who think she can swing opinion in S.K even for a BTS member.

Whether she truly has or not, it is still impressive that there are i-fans who think so.

After Eight she got to be known somewhat to international Armies.

I still regret that there was no big, all out fight between BTS and BlackPink, which would have been the greatest bout since Muhammad Ali vs George Foreman.

So, since BP was not available, IU became the primary opponent of BTS in Korea, which did draw overseas fans' attention.

  • Thirst for Army validation does not die even with the most hardcore haters of the said fandom :S

  • No matter how much noise ARMYs create around the group, the group is losing popularity. I see BTS appearing less and less in the media, although at its peak it was mainstream. Not everything is going well in the charts either; to keep them on their toes requires huge investments in playlists and autoplay, like the example of Jimin, who leads exclusively on Spotify, but not on other platforms.

    They have 2 main problems

    1) Fandom - which is very aggressive and many simply do not want to interact with them

    2) Bad tracks - they don't do anything current, but simply copy current styles of the past. Jimin once again focused on auto-tune, now auto-tune is wild. I haven't heard this for a long time, and it's not interesting. Jungkook standing next to you was also coldly received, against the backdrop of the success of Seven. The Jacksonian sound of the track is now not relevant and is of little interest to anyone, except for the adult part of the population. RM is actually funny, I didn’t even hear this track because everyone passed by it. The latest BTS track was simply terrible, exclusively a track for 12 year old girls from 30 year old men.

    :pepe-narrow-eyes:

  • Sure, they would have known her from Eight, but that they think that she is influential enough to even change public opinion about a BTS member..?

That is in one way a huge compliment to IU.

    But also unrealistic.

By now most ifans who have ever taken a look in the Korean music scene have learned that no matter how big BTS, or any other act, gets it has to reckon with IU sooner or later.

So they hoped she would say something to make things better for Suga in Korea, not knowing that she has staunchly avoided getting into any kind of political or social controversies other than what she created herself.

At least they are now aware of the enormous power she has at home.

  • It seems the ifans are aware of the great influence Lee Jieun wields at home.

But there is no reason for her to say anything since if she keeps her mouth shut, since no one in the 4th gen is strong enough to have an absolute dominance, she returns to power.

it's interesting that NewJeans could have been the one group from 4th gen with a really good chance to have that absolute dominance but they got undercut by their own company

  • Did not even have to wait till next year to shut you up and antis/trolls like you who salivate daily at predicting the end of BTS....it is always instant karma for BTS antis as can be seen with the events unfolding in the past few days :finger-heart::borahae::holding-back-tears:
