Did Ella get plastic surgery done on her face? She looks like a different person now

maybe I mean it is SK and kpop idols but and just something to consider that

ella was a kid (she's still a kid but older kid) when we first met her and kids grow up so it can just be the result of naturally growing up and makeup

Agree. Everyone has done something, at least injections, it doesn't have to be actual surgery. Having said that; i see nothing here, and i don't mean surgery, i mean her face lol.

Kpop fans are obsessed with visuals, they praise and drag idols for their visuals all the time. They drag idols who got plastic surgery and need to defend their faves who are "accused" of getting it because apparently having something done is bad behaviour. You just cannot win.

I think people are too quick to throw out plastic surgery accusation. It just looks like makeup/contouring. Some photoshop in the pic.

She looks the same to me, outside of make-up & facial expressions (or lack thereof.) There's also some obvious editing on her intro video. Her lip shape did seem somewhat suspect to me, but I'm not familiar enough with her to draw any conclusions.

This strikes me as an odd position to take. Even if plastic surgery is super common in Kpop, why should anyone have to prove they haven't had any done? That shouldn't be the default. Given the way people use this against Kpop idols like a weapon, that's basically the same as "guilty until proven innocent." And even if you are shown otherwise, you'll probably just assume they "did something subtle," if you've already convinced yourself that they've done anything at all. I've seen it countless times.

There aren't any penguins in the Arctic, while there are natural Kpop idols, so that's simply not true. I don't know why people feel the need to exaggerate and make blanket statements about literally everyone just because it's common. Now we're even predicting the future. Is it just easier for you than actually trying to tell the difference? Seems kind of lazy.

But that's basically the definition of stereotyping, and I doubt the idols who prove to be the exception would call it a "safe default assumption." They'd likely take offense, just like anyone else who's been stereotyped would.
