I have always thought she is a bit a bit overated, don't really see the greatnes in her songs from her youth, even If I kind of can understand she was popular.

The song is not outdated but the recording is outdated!

I don't know if it is outdated or not, but I personally really like it, and it brings me some sort of nostalgia.

I’ve never heard the song before, and for me, it’s sounds super outdated. The music production sounds tinny.

yeah, maybe I would say her songs feels a big overrated, even if she have some I like. It's just that she is so hyped over the years and when I compare it to the songs, the songs is not really at the standard of the hype. But I also understand it's not fair to judge songs that are more than 20 years old today, it probably was an other thing in the 2000ies.

No such thing as "outdated" in music. Why would anyone let "music trends" determine their listening habits? It's asinine. If "outdated" were a real thing, nobody would be listening to MJ, Beatles and Bruce, yet every day, billions do.

As for the song, it's not bad actually. Better than most pop songs released today.

It's not outdated and a song like No.1 in a 2O24 remastered version would actually sound trendy.
