So I decided to listen to the version of BTS's "On", which features Sia

A lot of you know that I have a bad taste in music, so I wanted to know if I would end up disliking this.

I know that many ARMY really hate BTS & Sia collab.

Well... I don't like Sia. (even though she has some songs that sound nice)

But the only reason why I don't like her is because of her being the director of the movie "Music". (I haven't watched the movie, but I have heard some things.)

Well... am I going to suffer or will I end up liking this because of me having so low expectations? (just like, I would have very low expectations for Music)

Now I'm going to listen to it and let you all know what I think.

After listening:

Wait a minute, why do ARMYs even hate this?

Maybe because Sia's part was short?

Dang, some of you are really over-reacting when talking about this song.

I expected to hear Sia scream like an angry cat or something.

I prefer 10000% the BTS version without Sia bc I'm sorry, but like the featuring was unnecessary like she isn't even that present in the song so the version without her is better imo.

Btw On is one of my fave BTS recent songs.

Her part just felt out of place. The original is still better. I could see the potential if she was given a better part or added something new instead of just making her sing the chorus.

It was an unnecessary feature and I think the original is better too. But her parts are short and it frankly is easily ignored, I don't get why it is overhated on Reddit. It gets brought up in every bad song/feature thread, so that it's become an overused meme.

My dislike of it isn't a criticism of Sia or her vocals, but when a feature actually makes the song worse, it becomes objectionable to me.

it's more of a meme atp of what a remix shouldn't be. i don't like it because sia sounds jarring on the song but i guess if you've never listened to the og then the sia version probably would sound just fine
