I don't know if you're familiar with Purple Kiss, but when they had Zombie as a title song, I thought, only by reading the name, it would be a horror concept.
Then, it was not. It was more of a playful, light-hearted.....horror(?) song.
Yeah, i can't imagine how a full horror song would sound like...and I definitely don't see Twice being the group to do so lol

After re-watching the trailer, it seems more melancholy or somber, even the background colors.
But, the music could change into something happy.
Maybe if the setting was middle-of-the-night darkness, a horror concept would be feasible.

LOA is zombie, still one of the best teasers of all time! And to be honest, some of the teasers are actually scary...

It's obviously a mermaid-adjacent concept, or perhaps sirens, since we haven't seen any actual tails yet. But the typical aesthetic is there, and has been since the first teaser photo, right down to their make-up. And it of course involves water. Momo just posted Insta photos of her even shooting something Dive-related in water.
Mermaids/sirens can be used in horror, but I really don't think that's where they're going with this.
