It has the numbers of a generational hit, but it never took off or took over, and when it first released, it was initially even overshadowed by you know who (MMM).
I know statistically what it did, but its impact was extremely minimal compared to the other songs on the list. It will probably get surpassed by Love Dive soon as well.

AIIYL is basically Blackpink's Hybe Boy and BTS' Spring Day. All three never reached #1 (HB was blocked by Pink Venom and Attention, then Afterlike, Spring Day only lasted 4 weeks in top 10, etc).
But all showed epic longevity, Spring Day and AIIYL puttered about at #73 for ages, while Hybe Boy did way better by destroying every other song in terms of top 10 longevity in Melon history.
