K-pop were bigger when they were active.

I predict that most artists and the industry will benefit from their presence soon.

Kpop is going through a slump internationally without them. There's a reason why we keep seeing "Is Kpop slowing down?" being asked over and over again (even on allkpop) ever since they went on hiatus.

Kpop is less enjoyable but it has nothing to do with bts hiatus (unless you are a BTS fan).

For me, its because kpop fans themselves have been sucking the fun out of kpop for the past few years with their unhealthy obession with charting and sales, their constant fighting and that sick tendency of hate bandwagoning and bullying idols for the most stupid reasons.

But the media seems excited to have BTS back. The news of Jin's military discharge also seem to have surprised people because his enlistment went by so fast and are expecting them to do a reunion tour
