None of the current girl groups. I mean, compared to the first years of the biggest gg (BP) and nations gg (twice), the current girl groups aren't showing that good of results. I think the next gg hasn't debuted yet. But out of the current ones, if I had to pick one it'd be itzy, they're doing the best

Feels like we have had this queastion before....
Of the groups we have now I don't see any real potential for that to be honest.
To get that kind of status you more or less need a cute girly concept.

"Nations girl group" has been the "ideal" Korean female image. SNSD and Twice both had the same exact cute image and appeal when they were given that title. It's not entirely about level of success, but who Koreans want representing their image. Itzy has a stronger vibe/image that I feel would never be given such a title by Koreans. If a cute, pure, innocent-looking group debuts and does well, they will get the title for sure. I can't imagine any 4th gen group that has that "vibe" that is anywhere remotely close to well-known status yet.
