Supernova was only released a week ago but has skyrocketed to #1 on ALL real time domestic charts earning them an All-Kill. The reason why I think Supernova has potential to become their next biggest hit since Next Level or even replicate it is because it's going super viral in Korea right now.
This morning they posted the HIGHEST hourly UL's of the year on Melon surpassing ZICO's Spot and IU's Love Wins All.
They also posted the highest streams in a single day for a female artist this year alongside digital queen IU.
EDIT: New data just came in literally seconds ago and now aespa holds the highest streams for a female artist this year on Melon in a single day. Further proving that this song isn't just doing well its going viral.
On top of this Supernova continues to hit the roof of Melon doing so 6 times already and counting.
With how fast the UL's are growing it could hit 400K+ by end of the week and potentially surpass SPOT which holds the record for highest UL's peak of the year. If they continue to move up on Vibe and Genie Daily Chart they will for sure get a PAK as they are #1 on Melon, Youtube, Flo and Bugs currently.
Now it may be too early to tell but with the way Supernova is moving and the dance going viral on Korean Tik-Tok I can definitely see the potential for this to become their Next Level moment. The only thing that could put a pause on this is New Jean's upcoming release this Friday especially as all eyes are on them due to HYBE-ADOR fiasco. Let's see how it plays out but so far Supernova is smashing it!
