This reminds me of SNSD’s “The Best” compilation album limited edition which they released in 2014 which came w/2 CDs w/all their singles including Japanese and blu-ray of all their music videos cost 12,000 yen or about $120 at the time. But it sold out pretty much immediately and I had to buy it from a reseller for $200 less than a month later. Now it’s going for up to $350 on eBay.
Looks like HYBE has continued EMI Record Japan’s work 10 years down the line and added $30 to the price as well…..
Prayer circle for future Carats 10 years from now who want to buy it when it’s out of print who will have probably have to pay at least $400 w/inflation!
But really, pray the most for ARMYs who had to pay $243 for the Collector’s Edition of BTS’s compilation album Proof at release, plus probably at least $50 shipping for those outside of Korea since it’s made out of metal, which is now going close to $500 on Amazon and was only released 2 years ago, NOW!

Tbh, i was an avid album buyers since 2018 for Seventeen. I bought all their versions just because THEIR ALBUMS WERE SO GOOD!! It was worth it with cute inclusions
But after the acquisition the design started to look sloppy and messy. They knew Seventeen would still sell so they put some formality
I bought all their albums until Henggarae. An Ode was their last album before acquisition and Henggarae their first after acquisition. It was a HUGE downgrade. Design and inclusion wise
Then I stopped buying altogether. you can see their design become more horrendous and lazy as time passes
