Desktop. More versatile, more bang for your buck (similar tier components are more expensive on laptops), more potential for upgrades.
-
I have both, but much prefer using the desktop due to its significantly larger screen, proper keyboard/mouse, and considerably higher computing power.
-
Desktop of cource.

Desktop because I can attach any size monitor to it and use an ergonomic keyboard.
Laptop feels constricting.

Laptop, so I can carry it around the house.
-
laptop because its more convey to use during travel
You can't use them while traveling in the airplane because it'll be on a carry-on (or checked bag) instead.

What are you talking about?
I use the laptop while flying a few times while on business trips. Put the laptop on airplane mode and pay for the inflight WIFI.
I'll try to use my laptop without WiFi next time I go on a trip by plane.

Desktop for windows, laptop for macOS

I liked my desktop but it finally made the trash heap. I use my laptop a lot because it’s easier to maneuver and carry around.
-
Laptop, I can put it next to my in bed and fall asleep to some youtube stuff

Everyone who speaks to somebody in Spanish online would prefer a Mac than a Windows because there's no need to memorize any single alt + 4 random numbers for typing in Spanish on a Mac unlike Windows.
The alt + 4 random numbers (alt codes) is why I don't like (and eventually stopped using) Windows.
Option + e + vowel = lowercase vowel used for speaking in Spanish.
Uppercase would be Option + e, Shift + vowel = uppercase vowel used for typing in Spanish.
