    I'm back from my years lost at sea and what do I come back to...???


    ILLIT Magnetic taking kpop by storm.


    Forgot all the people out of sorts over is it or is it not NEWJEANS esque.


    Or that's it's "kiddie music for tweens" Excuse me I'm in my 30s!


    And that one Allkpopper I saw bemoaning it somehow sucks because it's "just ear worm music with catchy beats" lmao.


    What shadow lands do these people live in. What in the world is this hate! They must want to listening to death and doom music or watch edgy people doing edgy non fun or melodic things.


    MAGNETIC IS PHENOMENAL!


    This is a tremendous debut. What a song pick.


    So freaking catchy. Fun and charming. The video is so cool. And that DANCE CHOREO. My God it's addicting!


    The members all shined in the video and we're so charming and cute!


    I've listened to it 700 times in the past hour and I'm not stopping!


    What an awesome debut from them. Really hit it out of the park.


    I'm excited to see what they have next.


    Got my magnets crossed.

    In my top 3 worst debuts of all time Illit is doing the unthinkable with "My World".

    This song and it's live stages are SLAYING me right now. Not only is the song catchy as hell but the styling is amazing. Out of all the songs they've promoted so far this is the only one that doesn't feel like a NJ rip off. These stages actually feel like Illit is their own group and I got to tell you..if Illit could stay with this direction then I could get on board…

    But oh wow I hadn't seen that My World stage. So cool....


    I literally just came back into all this so I missed the whole debut. Was running through some of the threads today but hadn't seen this one.


    Really cool alternate take from them. Glad they charmed you with their 2nd song at least.


    How is IVE and yours girls Rei and Lesseo doing by the way? I saw a thread say they

    were coming back soon?


    I will be excited to see Wonyoung and Yujin again. Wonyoung got me under some kind of spell these days lol which I never sAw coming.

    Their music is fine actually. It's not really my style but perfectly passable as kpop goes. My main issue was with everything else. The timing and the almost perfect copy and paste job of NJ (a group I don't even like but feel like they got did dirty for reasons I covered in a fanfic thread I made yesterday).


    And IVE is so busy I honestly don't know how they are doing it. It was announced Leeseo will be the new MC on inkigayo real soon which I'm really excited about and looking forward to. Then another album and still touring. They are putting a lot of miles on their bodies at such a young age.


    Other than that I'm also a die hard Young Posse fan now. They are quickly gaining on IVE as my top current group.

    It's incredible! There's some mixed reception to it, but I personally thought this was a very strong debut. This sort of dreamy electropop sound works well for the identity of the group.


    I love the adlibs on the bridge and especially the first verse sung by Minju and Iroha. And the chorus is insanely catchy.


    The song is breaking records on streaming right now, so congrats to ILLIT!
