When I used to go fishing a lot, I'd see Sea Eagles all the time.

Yes - During Camping vacations. On an auto ferry ship between Washington and Alaska saw a bunch of Bald Eagle in pine trees along the shore.
Locally there is some Eagles, have not seen them. They hang out around the reservoirs.

Occasionally I see a bald eagle or two soar past our backyard, but they're normally too far away for my cheap dslr to take good pictures.
The closest prolonged experience was when I was trying to photograph a hawk soaring with vultures and suddenly there was an eagle soaring with them. I had forced myself to practice photography with my dad's old dslr, and the raptors were my reward
