Judging Idols relationship via social media is the dumbass thread I've seen on this forum.

    I assume that you are not an recent kpop fans so it's not surprising or even shocking for you that idols change their personalities online, just like it's no secret that kpop idols have done surgery

These people owe you NOTHING about their private life or their relationships with anyone regardless of who it is. Fans thinking this way seriously needs to seek therapy YOU need a doctor. KPOP is NOT therapy go get some real fuckin help people!

    I have no doubt there's certain aspects of the Kpop industry that are faked, but I do think some people tend to overstate how scripted it is. The idols already know what not to say or do on camera (with the obvious exception of sensitivity for foreign cultures & sensibilities), that was all part of their training, so I doubt they usually even require much editing, but even if they did, most Kpop content isn't live, so they could easily edit out anything they want without the need to actually script it. The fact that most groups are so well behaved even on livestreams speaks to this.


    Unless it's very subtle, plastic surgery is something you can see. We unfortunately can't see the relationships of these people off-camera (which is why people assume they don't hang out unless evidence is provided), but I just think the approach to Kpop that likens it to a scripted production is a bit outdated. If it were standard practice to have someone behind the camera going, "Show all your adoring fans how much you love (insert member here)," no one would even be talking about groups they perceive as not being close. I say this because there probably are groups that aren't as close as we think and vice versa, but sometimes you can just tell. Which isn't surprising, because most idols aren't professional actors. There's some things they just can't hide.

    I'm sorry but you have to be dumb to assume they aren't close just because they are expanding their individual brand or want to try new things. One thing isn't related to another. Also another question How would you know if you don't follow them? social media alone isn't a good way to measure their friendships . it's like me saying twice aren't close I don't know I'm not updated with them because I'm not a once. Same with you your aren't a fan there are so many things you are saying you aren't aware of and I think is more wishful thinking from your part, which is sad imo.

    Well, one thing can be sure. If they were close, now they wont be so much. In different agencies, installed in different countries, their friendship is going to cool down. I had a close friend who went to live to other country five years ago. We use to hang out all the time, now we barely talk, and only in holydays.
