found the articles. read them and it was mostly just pictures. there's nothing written in there that's making fun of minji. the writer just made a pun in the headlines as clickbait, i'm guessing

Yes it's just a pun, but constantly linking her to something that has generated so much hate towards her is not the way to go. She's already getting enough backlash from jobless knets, we don't need actual media outlets to stir the pot even more.

Well MBC and Hybe have had a colorful history lol we all know that. Could be that despite recent rapprochement efforts by the CEOs, that some underlings at MBC still have a bone to pick with Hybe lol. Judging by MBC Gayo, you get a sense of this because literally ZERO Hybe groups performed there last year (and probably multiple years before that). OTOH you have every NCT unit in existence, Aespa, Riize, even Eunbi there...plus Yoona and Minho as returning MCs.

Not sure what to believe tbh. Some folks saying that this is just a clickbaity article with no hate to Minju. Others, like Bunnies obviously, are mad as hell about it.

The writer was moronic as well. And Minji candidly spoke about how much this issue has burdened her for the past year, so I don't think it's out of pocket for fans to be annoyed some reporter is using this stupid issue to generate clicks. Eff around and find out

Except of course, the fact that these morons are aggrieved by the headline, when the article is more harmless. And journalists rarely actually choose the headline, the publisher does. And they choose the headline, especially under modern... "standards"*, the most clickbaity and scandalous possible, the get that click you mentioned.

So the earlier screenshots, going after MBC, are fine. Going after the writer, when he more than likely didn't choose the headline, is just bullying. Far worse "bullying" than a shitty pun for a news story anyway considering I found tweets saying he should Go kill himself or he needs to be fired... over a headline. Unless of course the fuckwits doing this can 100% prove Go Dae Hyun wrote the headline himself.

The reactions are over the top, but the pun was completely moronic and unnecessary as well. I don't care who is ultimately responsible, but I find it hard to believe a writer with any kind of credibility has zero input at all on their headlines. At least that's not the article writing process I've been exposed to state-side, and I've seen professional writers here fired over a ridiculously tone-defeat headline (ESPN writers at that).

Obviously I'm not defending people making death threats, but it's not out of pocket for fans to be annoyed at a pun making fun of a situation that Minji has been relentlessly harassed about for a year.

I'll say more about the headline writing process later, except that generally it IS editors that choose the headlines, especially on more tabloid places.

But all these pants pissing dickheads have done is Streisand Effected the article and headline.

If they didn't have a moronic meltdown over a pin, it would have fade away very quickly and not many people have noticed. By throwing a tantrum, it's AMPLIFIED the article to a much bigger degree, made more people wonder what the issue is and prolonged it all that much more. In their hysterical over the top attempt to "protect" an idol they just salt the wound.
