Easy money not so easy
No different from what we saw when they booked that MetLife show.
Kpop networks and companies getting a harsh reality check on the massive differences between 3rd gen acts that have nearly a decade or more of established relevance to new groups that have yet to leave the trend phase of their careers.
You don't sell out stadiums with a lineup of performers who have yet to even hit the theatre scene for the most part.
overestimation of the line up capability
they should learn where's the people on their lineup is marketed. last year iirc GDA is filled with teume.
I have seen the fans from SEA countries saying the tickets for these award shows are very expensive. And all the big groups attending already tour on SEA, so It's not really worth paying if fans can save to see their solo concerts.
I looked up the prices for AAA the cheapest tickets were P3,000 which is like $54 USD and the average monthly salary is around P18,000 or $324 USD. So, the cheap tickets are comparable to around 17% of the average monthly income for locals.
This is the pricing:
LBA VIP: P25,000
LBA Premium: P20,500
LBB VIP: P17,500
LBB Premium: P15,500
LBB Regular: P13,500
UBA Premium: P11,500
UBB Premium: P7,500
UBB Regular: P6,500
UBC Premium: P4,500
UBC Regular: P3,500
UBC Generic: P3,000
Also, the data I used was net average, gross average is different, and its from like a year or so ago. I shall try to find 2023 data.
Update:
P20,300 for gross in 2023, and P19,344 for net in 2023.

So are the prices overall good or not? I don't understand anything about this currency
What currency do you use. If you are comfortable sharing, I can try to convert it to that currency. Though it will still be a little off because cost of living is different in different countries.
Real (BRL). But you don't need to convert for me, don't worry. I just want to know If these are good or expensive princes from people who live in Philippines' pov.
As I said in my comment, I'm just sharing what I read from people who live in these countries, don't know If I'm right or wrong. So I'd like to know your opinion.
Damn

In the case of Seoul Music Awards
Average minimum salary in Thailand: roughly 10,500 THB
Ticket price: 1,800 - 6,800 THB
In the case of upcoming Blue Dragon Music Awards
Ticket price: 1,200 - 6,900 THB
Blue Dragon has aespa on top of NCT Dream and RIIZE so, it may sell mildly better.

This is it. All of our faves do come here already for their own concerts and that is worth the price.
These awards show tickets were really expensive for any decent seats and lol at them for picking Radja stadium, which is huge, and I hate going there.
Also to share, in Thailand, the average monthly salary is actually about 30,000 THB for general company employee but it will vary depending where you are and which sector you work in.
They keep doing these shows on weekdays which is a bizarre choice.
aren't they doing market research before booking the venue??
