2024 has begun for parts of the world, so now I can start making proper year-end threads.
My absolute favorite stage is a very predictable choice, and there really was no competition
Still the best representation of their performance skill and ability to engage and energize a massive crowd, and it is significantly boosted by the fact I was in said crowd screaming the lyrics with all the other festival goers.
My second favorite would be Mamamoo performing alongside all the kids to rescue the South Korea's reputation after the disaster planning of the 2023 Jamboree.
Outside of their tour, no MooMoo had any hope of seeing them as a group on a big stage like this, but when the Korean government demanded the presence of their biggest idols, they knew who to call when they wanted to guarantee a group would bring an A+ performance no matter the circumstances.
Please release group content in 2024, my queens
My third favorite of the year is 2023 Blizzcon. LSF.
This one is personal since I've been playing Blizzard games for as long as I've been a PC gamer, and although I hate what that horribly mismanaged company has become, it was still cool to see K-Pop intersecting with another of my favorite hobbies for the second time (Mamamoo performed at Blizzcon a couple years ago). Seeing LSF own this set and turning BLIZZCON of all places into their own mini concert was awesome
Honorable Mention:
Most fun performance I've seen all year. Sent this to some of my buddies as an example of how you close a show and do a live performance
