    This failure has a hidden opportunity to glean important lessons from. DSP Media A&R Department needs to reflect on these notes:


    I don’t know if the same team behind Kara and Kard created Mirae, but a critical ingredient Mirae lacked that Kara and Kard both have are at least 1 “international (social media) ambassador”.


    Music and talent alone just aren’t enough to pay the bills these days. Having at least one member a diverse audience can effortlessly interact with on a conversational level builds broader fan connections and engagement.


    Is the S.Korean market alone enough to sustain rookie groups? Do the research. Either way, hedging your bets won’t hurt. Recruiting from the US West and East coasts is a past agency practice that should be maintained.

    MEGAMAX; they debuted, never had a comeback and after 3 years we finally know they had disbanded a while ago.
