Who cares? Don't understand why fans of other groups are obligated to keep their lightsticks on for groups they don't stan.

it's always been like that though, with few exceptions happening when female groups of the same company are performing (namely exo-ls and nctzens supporting red velvet by keeping their lightsticks on during their sets, i remember seeing that happen).

i think people read too much into this. sure there are some petty bg stans or jealous antis who do it on purpose but a good part of them simply want to save the lightstick batteries for when their fave is on. it's as simple as that lol and i'd probably do the same if i had one and was short on batteries.
