What's behind the weird sudden surge in Treasure's latest album sales? It's crazy, they're even outselling Enhypen now

Wasn't it due to the success of darari? And I don't think it's just media play because if you check the current standing of votes for MAMA, Treasure is higher than Enhypen in both categories

I don't think vote in Mama really matters especially when the gap is not big especially now En- in the middle of cb. I could also say that Enhypen have more followers in all their social media to counter this.

Social media followers dont matter. They got a lot of runoff from bts resulting in "dead subscribers" meaning they subscribed due to being hybe stans but dont engage because TREASURE gets bigger views.

Also YG was the first label to be ISO certified, so TREASURE's album sales are unquestioned.

Add to the fact TREASURE is more popular in Japan and do better in touring, Enhypen is a notch below TREASURE now and has lost their momentum from debut which was largely due to hybe.

Enhypen is by far bigger in Japan than Treasure, they have sold more albums there.

They had a successful world tour in the US. What does Treasure do successfully beside touring in 3 countries. Treasure sits at the same table as Ateez at most.

Wow, Treasure's album sales skyrocketed after the first week, selling almost a million after that. It's super rare in kpop. Usually, K-pop groups sales peak in the first week. But this time, Treasure latest album doubled the sales, even more than their first week for the first month sales. They even outselling Enhypen, who initially sold more in the first day and week. What happened? Did they go viral post-comeback or what? It's not the usual album sales trend, especially for their first cb after losing two members. Plus, even SM artists with shipment issues haven't had selling more album after the in their first month compare to their first week.

Before this, for all their cb, Treasure's sales stay pretty steady. Like, they will sell more albums in the first week than in the whole first month, just like most K-pop groups do. This is the first time their sales development change this much. So, did they get viral or shooting sudden popularity after the first week of their cb because it's such a huge sales boost.

Or YG need to convince some investors and stakeholders bc their cb was late July and this boost happen on August, the same month BP supposed contract renewal decision come out? I wonder...

Maybe cuz Treasure is finally getting noticed, and maybe because their comeback was in the right place at the right time (in late July so no other competitors. Didn’t Enhypen have their comeback near SKZ’s?) Treasure has some really good songs and I’m happy that they’re getting more popular
