Asians are starting to buy guns. Is that good or bad?

Asian hate/ attacks in the US increased after pandemic began from my observation at the other side of pacific that it has a lot to do with suspicions on who brought Covid into the country. Are you saying young black male attacks on Asians are for a different cause.? Asians selling liquor/ do small business in black communities happened long before Covid pandemic, are these causes related to each other?

No, Asian hate/attacks got deliberately overemphasized by our corrupt media after COVID - as that media was attempting to create a new class of victims beholden to progressive political entities for their safety and to gin up more anger against the existing Administration. It made a nice little news story: "Trump said 'China Virus' and now Americans are attacking Asians!" Too bad not a single word of it was true.

Black-on-Asian crime has a long history in the USA, it started decades before COVID ever existed. Asian-American businesspeople are often the targets but Asian tourists are also frequently victimized if they innocently wander into the wrong neighborhoods. Because the USA is not like the rest of the world - which keeps its city centers gleaming and beautiful and pushes its problems out to its suburbs. The USA has just the opposite: gleaming, beautiful suburbs and inner cities filled with social misfits and criminality. Tourists from the rest of the world often don't understand this before they arrive, and wander right into the worst neighborhoods when sightseeing.

Thus the reputation the USA has gained for being a tremendously violent place. Outside of the urban ghettos, it is actually just about the safest country in the world - "An armed society is a polite society." - Robert Heinlein - but those ghettos stand far too close to famous tourist attractions that draw unwary foreign visitors.

But no, the idea that Americans started randomly attacking Asians after COVID's origins came to light is utterly false, and a deliberate slander created by our own media. But it has been repeated so widely it will take a long time to go away.

No I don't think they can do that. Lots of drugs are illegal in the US too and it's a raging drug war over there, I don't see why it would be different from guns

You don't want to live in a country where the military controls everything and you are basically defenseless under them. Look at Myanmar. The protestors are gunned down by the military on a daily basis with no way to defend themselves. Its a world where the elitist government / military has more power over the every day citizen. That is why the elites pay the media to demonize guns. its benefits the higher ups in power if guns are robbed from average citizens. First the guns will go, and then your right to free speech.

THIS is why you barely see the SAH on the media and why Simu Liu situation was started by a jealous Asian actor and viralized by black people, its not a good look cause it will clash with BLM sooner or later, thats why you cant find statistics of attackers as of now.
