I know ARMY. We only go hard for hype music or super pop pop. BTS' top 10 hits confirm this aside from Spring Day that gets SK in the feels. But their pop hits has come out swinging in recent years; Boy With Luv & Dynamite are the best examples. I know he wants to showcase his vocals more but if his entire album is slow RnB tracks and then "Slow" Dancing is too, that will kill the hype 100%. Yet To Come and Life Goes On met the same fate compared to Run BTS(not even a title track but the one ARMY out streamed) and Dynamite.
So it does get mad annoying when his solos blame ARMY for not being hyped when ARMY, in general, are 1000% pop stans.
PS. I am not liking this MHJ rollout. It does not mesh well with ARMY that are used to the rollout we've had for years before chapter two.
Just dropping stuff unannounced, releasing a MV a day before it's released on streaming platforms (and not counting at all for the tracking week) then releasing two MVs at the same time with two songs to stream at the same and dumping all these photoshoots back to back to back is high key annoying.
She's highly overrated and a one-trick pony if she's just copying and pasting what she does for her own group with Taehyung. But I digress, Taehyung wanted this so I only hope Slow Dancing gives us a fast banger.
