What Caused NCT 127 To Decline & Lose Some Of Their Popularity???

All groups lose some popularity with time, so it's not like their situation is particularly unique in that regard

The problem with NCT 127 is they took years to release their first hit (Kick It) and quickly released some follow ups that were not well received

As they are older (are soon going to cross their 7th birthday) it becomes much harder to get their hype back, new kpop fans always gravitate towards newer and younger groups

because people have no taste

unpopular opinion i guess but i think Dream always had bigger core fandom, they sold similar even when 127 was pushed a lot more so is not surprising they surpassed them easily when SM remembered they exist too

another issue id assume would give them a blow, they have a huge solo stan problem. theres no sense of cohesion in that fandom, and they barely support them as a group since they typically only care about their favorite, they will only support their favorite. and nothing for the group.

dream has a stronger fanbase when it comes to supporting the 7 of them together. also dream generally more loved by the public so they just chart longer. their music playin damn everywhere in korea they literally love them
