Sure they’re bigger internationally. Many groups are bigger than EXO internationally that’s not really surprising considering EXO didn’t get to take advantage of the kpop boom.

EXO have China and Korea though. It’s not really a comparison worth having tho because they’re not running the same race lol.

The only race they ran on somewhat equal footing is Korea, China and Japan the main kpop markets that stayed consistently and I believe EXO have 2/3 of those markets. And in Japan while EXO don’t chart they still tour big so like those are the stats there. China SKZ may beat out EXO but I don’t think they’ll match EXO’s peak.

Anyway considering no one has been able to match exo in Korea theyll all sadly never compete. Not SKZ, not 17, not NCT none of them have EXO’s legacy or fandom strength for such a consistent amount of time. And that’s just a fact.

Just a fun fact EXO ranked on the Circle year end digital chart every year from 2013 to 2019 and they also won Melon top 10 7 years.

2023 will be the first time seventeen and nct will potentially chart on the year end charts 7-8 years after they debuted.
