Classic NMIXX stages!

I'm really excited to see what stages they have at the end of this year.

Especially if they release a 3rd comeback like they are rumored to.

I think they can have both quality and quantity.

I remember in 2017, Twice released Knock Knock, Signal, Likey, and Heart Shaker. All bops. In 2018, WIL, DTNA, YoY, and Best Thing I Ever Did. All except the last one were amazing.

I think it's more JYPE doesn't know how to produce a hit these days rather than an issue with quantity.

that's similar case to Oh My Girl as well, when they weren';t happy for some months about the songs they were receiving, and whatever was pitched to them they didn't accept that...

now when you think about it...

JYP has TWICE, ITZY, NiziU, NMIXX, and also Jihyo's upcoming solo

RBW has Mamamoo, Oh My Girl, Purple Kiss, Chaeyeon, and also that new coming group Young Posse which also needed a song as well

maybe the problem for those labels is that there are too many gg's so it's harder now to "spare" a good title song for everyone

not to even talk about how JYP could've used Celebrate as Korean comeback, and Voltage too, or make it US one for ITZY

whatever, I just hope both of mentioned agencies won't kill themselves with dumb creative decisions

The thing is though, JYPE is only going to continue to add groups though, and as a company, they need to learn how to pick songs for their continuously active groups.

JYPE's structure of having multiple teams should function similarly to HYBE with their multiple labels, and HYBE has shown with LSFM and New Jeans that it is possible to have multiple groups that produce quality content regularly. Especially if the next GG from RUNEXT? is also a hit. JYPE would have 0 excuse at that point.

The scarcity tactic also did not work for Twice as a group. They released only 2 songs as a group last year. Only 1 Korean title, and that song did moderately well, but still was not a hit.

We will see if your theory about ITZY proves right for this comeback.
