I can't believe I am saying this, but Jungkook might actually do an album bomb when he drops his own later this year. Swifties thought they were the only ones that had a main pop act do album bombs but Jungkook will be joining her soon.

I know the industry is watching him more intensely now and would plan around him to not clash with his album. Serving BTS tea, love that for him. But for now he is about to end BTS and Harry Sytles

this is so amazing to witness… kind of historical ngl. he’s slayed as a member of a really successful group for ten years and now he’s making headlines with his own solo work. jungkook has always had massive star power. im glad he went with an English song actually, this really puts him out there as a main pop boy. excited for his album! hope we get to hear a few a list features!

I was expecting him to do well, maybe even the best among the members, but what I wasn’t expecting was for him to do better than BTS’ biggest comeback (on Spotify).

I don’t know if the fandom has grown or what.

Anyway, I’m so glad he decided to outsource his song to A-list western producers instead of keeping it in house. No offense but I can’t stand Pdogg’s production lately and Jungkook would not be smashing so hard if he got the usual BTS fare.

What I didn't expect and really caught me by surprise is how well he is doing. It's beyond my expectations. All the other BTS members did well in their owns right when they released their masterpieces BUT JK really topped it all. ARMY supported him and GP and their mommas and papas are eating it all up. Right now, he is the top Korean soloist, breaking records and racking numbers like no other. I can't wait for him to drop his album.

Let us not forget that we still have Kim Taehyung following him and we all know know his power and impact.

As we already all know, the next BTS . . . is a BTS member.

Based on some of the snippets he shared (and deleted lol) on IG, I think some of those tracks will be pop-ish and that’s what he’ll push for his title track.
