Does that even affect Kpop Idols though?

Do they have webstores selling downloads?

Can someone explain what this means to someone who has no idea about streaming and charting?

Also can someone explain like why this is a big deal? If this affects big K-artists like BTS and prevents them from ranking as high on billboard why does it matter that much when by every other metric (album sales, k-charts, Spotify/Apple Music) they're still wildly successful. Okay so you lost 1 chart out of billions, why gaf?

it's like they are saying no to kpop mass buying but in the end, it hurts western artists. The pay from streaming is crap.
