Kpop Fans Harassed a Journalist to Private Her Account

  • oh no I didn't say that ( I don't anyone deserves hate) but it's obvious the content of the article is controversial considering that blackpink had a bigger impact

Plus I'm pointing our there is some bias because she is a once

There’s nothing controversial about it. She’s just a writer giving her own general perspective. If she said she was telling absolute facts it would be different case. It’s a cult-like slavish mindset to be bothered about her article.

She didn't say Twice paved the way for BlackPink, 3rd gen girl groups or Kpop in general.

She said they have helped shape the landscape in Kpop and pave the way for the next generation of female artists.

So that is 1) only for the next generation of female artists and 2) "helped" was used which makes it clear they did their part, but it's nowhere implied they did it by themselves.

  • You know what's funny? Remember how in Europe there are still roads made by Romans?

but I'm pretty sure it's not just Romans who paved the way tho xD

For example in same time in different parts of the world people were also making their own ones.

Everyone paved the way, it's just they've did it in different %

  • The Persians built the Royal Road. They paved the way for Julius Caesarflop.

  • I wonder why

As if she doesn't know, kpop fandom won't use such catchphrase to trigger other. Like it happens all the time with kpop writers

  • In general, for KPOP stans; What do you guys considered as 'paving the way'?

Do you guys considered it as the person that does it first or has the most appearance/win, or what is it? Just curious.

In kpop terms: my faves had all the success, therefore your faves achieved nothing, didn't have to work hard because my faves handed it to you. Winner takes all.

  • it's funny because things happened before with NYT writing worse shady articles but Blinks here were telling people Armys overreacted. But Blinks truly showed people what 'overreaction' is :pepe-joy:

  • Also it’s pretty crazy how I didn’t even mention a fandom because I do think this is a general problem but blinks are literally the only ones trying to excuse this type of behavior from their own fandom. Like…. Y’all wonder why a good portion of people don’t like your fandom. It’s consistently voted one of the worst fandoms in the Kpop community for a reason. It’s shut like saying she is bias because she likes Twice and thus deserves harassment for saying Twice helped future artists
