Ningning confirm to be as mentor for "Next stage 2023" in China

Surprised the hiatus of Ningning is starting so early

To be honest this is weird. Seing idols who debuted like 2 3 years ago as 'mentors'. She is neither a professional trainer or an established senior. idk if she is there just for moral support i get it.

True, if you consider her training period, she could have over 5 years of experience.

And China rarely have a lot of talent especially in singing. In my observation, it's the older singers in their 30s and 40s who sing really well. Ningning can handle rookies and trainer who will learn how to sing and dance on the show.

she promoted as a kid singer in China appearing in show like "New generation sound of china", "let's sing kids" , China got talent

Participated in OST and performed at concert before she even debut

then she train in a Kpop agency for many years

and she graduated from the Beinjing contemporary Music academy

so actually i think Ningning is one of the idols the most fitted to be a mentor because she saw every aspect of the industry already, survival show, training and promoting as an idol which make that she have a lot of practical experience in singing

but she also have a more "theorical" knowledge of Music thanks to her diploma which is something that 99% of kpop idols doesn't have, because they stopped going to school and never study the morre theorical approach of music, or just didn't care and prefer to study more acting etc...

Just when I thought I couldn't like the girl any more than I already do. Good for her, really curious to see how her C-bar grows, but its also kinda wild how little SM has been utilising her until now with all this as her background.

I don't remember any other famous chinese idol with good vocal technique (most of them are dancers/visuals), so it makes sense they chose Ningning. I hope this makes aespa even more popular as a group in China, and a great start to Ningning career.

Well i am not talking about just skill i am talking about experience taking lessons since she was a kid doesnt mean she has experience especially experience in teaching. i am overall iffy about idols being coaches. But i wouldnt mind seing someone like taeyeon and ailee as mentor since they are trusted, established singers and role models
