Excluding the special album, the full EXO's new album is about 3 years and 8 months since the regular 6th album 'OBSESSION' released in November 2019.
Since the beginning of this year, EXO has been steadily preparing an album for a full comeback. Kai, who was enlisted on the 11th of last month, is also expected to participate in this album and let his voice be heard.
On April 8th, EXO held a solo fan meeting 'EXO CLOCK' at KSPO DOME, Olympic Park, Seoul to mark the 11th anniversary of their debut, met with fans, performed the new song 'Let Me In', and gave hints about a full comeback.
Currently, SM Entertainment and EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin are at odds, but both sides are determined to promote EXO, so the comeback on July 10 is expected to proceed as scheduled.
Despite the dispute with the agency, preparations for a full comeback are steadily being prepared, such as shooting a music video on the 2nd and shooting a reality show on the 8th.
Most of the albums released by EXO have become million sellers, exceeding 10 million copies in cumulative album sales in Korea and recording the 6th million seller in total.
Meanwhile, EXO's new album will be announced on July 10th.
