They're doing the expected for a bg group from a big4, but that isn't associated with any other group (like Pledis bg gonna be associated with Seventeen) and didn't have pre rebut exposure.

Congrats. Usually I'm more afraid of idols as Ceos because I think they have big expectations based in their name. If they didn't do well at first, I would fear a Rain-Ciipher situation.

Zico doesnt have a particularly big fan base and his songs doesnt always chart well

They are doing as well as expected from a rookie bg. Bg have it hard even with big labels without survival shows.

kpop fans have been accusing ATEEZ for having Zico/Block B privilege and always undermining their achievements but now that Zico debuts his very own group under hybe, suddenly there's no Zico privilege at all, this is so funny to me. Their mvs are being posted under 70m sub channel but their engagements are on par with some nugu group debuts.

they didn't promote as bts junior or next bts... strictly under koz, which i think is good. That way they wont be accused as clout chasing or bts wannabe!

And if they make it , it's purely on merit, i respect that!

I had no clue about Ateez and blockb connection till now

even at their peak blockb didnt had fraction of ateez fandom

also no clue about bnd engagement I only commented on their 100k sales

Anyway, 100k for a debut as the KOZ first boy group is great. Their sales will only continues to go up as their fanbase grow bigger. I really doubt they even have 5% of HYBE privilege at the moment, they really don't give off that impression compared to their other label mates debuts.
