I actually really like how most 3rd gen groups never really taken seniority culture that seriously

The people involved were friends teasing each other.
People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. If this escalates further, JYP will do what is necessary to protect his asset. It will happen anyway once YG debuts BM, as he will do anything to make his group to be #1, but the end will be sooner rather.
The whole interaction wasn't teasing as it involved other members of WSJN, SinB did turn it into a joke but it's very clear that there was a line of Seniority. The segment lasted for a minute and a half with commentary from SinB.

Curious are you from a culture that values hierarchy? I am. And it’s something that has resulted in deep rooted issues and causes suffering every single day.
It’s problematic because you’re speaking about it. Cultural values being eliminated in Asian countries is a welcome change for many in those countries. Hence your “lamenting” of it is condescending.
Anyway like I said stance like yours is as problematic as people who enforce western ideas on Koreans.
Certainly I can’t change your opinion so let’s agree to disagree.
People that not born into this 'hierarchy culture' didn't really understand how terrible it actually is. Being a woman in Asian countries for example is never easy where most of their older gen still having this type of mentality. For instance, some of them still believe that woman only allowed to eat after man which show the hierarchy ranking between this two gender.

3. Gen doesn’t speak up about personal things in general. After seeing how people treat Bangchan I’m not surprised why.
Y’all want them to open up more, but the moment they complain a little they should have shut up and thought about the “consequences” first.
Tbh I’m more interested in what Koreans think about this, cause the only ones blowing this out of proportion are international fans.

What personal things? I don't think other idols mannerisms is anything under 'personal things'. 3rd gens idols actually talk a lot about their hardships and more transparent about their opinions about the industry. They shade their company quite a lot of time too, which I value it as sharing their personal opinions about the industry more than some aspects of mannerism that can be settled behind the scene.
Anyway, all my korean friends saying the same thing, they dislike his attitude for bringing this to his live not only once. They dislike this kind of senior a lot. And as for general knetz opinions, they you can see it at pannchoa.

If you feel like others were rude to you and you mention it, I do believe it falls under personal things.
Again he wasn’t all about the senior/junior thing, he was more upset about the fact that he greeted first and got ignored.
His whole point was that maybe this generation just don’t care about being nice anymore.
And tbh he isn’t wrong with that statement.
And you recommended me to check Pannchoa lol

1. If even mannerism is included in personal things, then what with '3rd gen idols don't speak up about personal things in general'? Then it's basically saying that 3rd gen idols are just smarter bc they know what things they can and cannot share to their fans.
2. We are not trying to dismiss his feelings or whatsoever but he literally kinda have a seniority complex issues as this is not the first time he talking about
this. Like every time he talk about his junior all started with 'they greetings me....'
[theqoo] TURNS OUT STRAY KIDS' BANG CHAN IS A GREETINGS MANIACWe translate Pann articles about Korean news, music, drama and lifestylewww.pannchoa.com3. If you know korean language, just go to their forum lol. What site can I suggest to you if you can't even read it? But basically this is all the summary of what they saying:
'How could Bangchan possibly know with certainty he was being disrespected? It's a Music Bank show in another country. Backstage, hallway, stage, no matter where it happened it's a pure chaos. How is he certain that the junior in question actually heard him? How is he certain that the junior was in conversation with another person (staff, othee senior, etc.)? How is he certain that the junior was moving fast to another place for their job, and missed the timing to say hi back? What if the junior did say hi back and Bangchan couldn't hear? What if the junior is super shy in real life and couldn't find it in them to say anything back?'
In short, just communicate to your juniors irl like normal people do chan.
4. As an idols, he should know better to never talk anything related to other idols negatively in front of his fans unless it's a really big issues and he ready to drop a name.
