Hype Boy, despite being released 9 months ago, still spends the majority of its time in the top 10 on Melon. The only thing that could potentially push it out for good is g(idle)'s comeback. But if it survives that then there is no competition until July; and I can honestly see it rising again during the summer since it now seems to be one of Korea's summer anthems.

Yep. Attention got to 31 weeks i think, which gives New Jeans its 3rd national hit. Ditto is at around 21 ish weeks and hanging on ok. OMG is actually already out of top 10 i think not sure it lasted 20 weeks on it. But Hybe Boy is the true Energizer, it will reach 40 weeks with no end in sight. I think it's higher than 10th so it should still be safe even if Idle's title is another smash hit. The concern for Hybe Boy as well as Ditto is their UL counts, there's not much cushion between them and the 11th place song and their absolute numbers, lower 200k i think, will make them vulnerable to a surprise hit.

Bruh, they already destroyed the alltime record for weeks in the top 10 of Melon by any artist in history. 36 was the previous alltime record set by Dynamite, a record i thought would last a decade at least, and Hybe Boy just ended it with ease
. Assuming no surprise hits until New Jeans comes back, it could actually be New Jeans' upcoming singles that put Hybe Boy out of the top 10 .Barring any surprises, Hybe Boy could end up with 46ish weeks in the top 10 of Melon.

Woah....Hype Boy is really solidifying itself as a legacy hit. Like its inarguably the biggest hit of 4th gen but this is a song that will go down in kpop history. It's very much 4th gens Gee/Cheer Up; which is insane considering it was part of NewJeans DEBUT album.
