Agreed. Unless I'm just listening (doing chores or something) rather than watching, then subtitles are damn inconvenient.

Sometimes (not often) they do it in German too ... it mostly annoyed me when I was a kid and watched MTV where 90% of the content was either sub only or horrible dub

Ehh. I don’t mind it. Documentaries are things I tend to listen to more than actually *watch*.

It’s definitely better than anime dubs

In the news segment it's impossible to do because usually the clip won't last for more that minutes the viewers won't be able to catch up with the subtitles, to me subs are only appropriate in movies and series
