I didn't know that even BTS has so much fights over ships in their fandoms. I thought fans stopped shipping idols a long time ago. Is this a thing for other groups too? Can anything be done to stop this problem?
Is BTS the only group with shipping problems?

And yeah Jikookers and Taekookers are the loudest and most psychotic shippers who hate Tae and Jimin respectively and treat Jungkook like a fetish object or trophy to be fought over.
I am just happy the boys give no fucks about the shippers and lead their lives the way they want to, particularly VMinKook, who anyone with eyes can see are as close as brothers.

shipping has always been suuuuper weird to me because there's this thin line of what's acceptable and what's just insane, and no other fandom like KPOP crosses that line repeatedly, if it isn't the taekookers it's the jikookers and if it isn't them then it's the EXO shippers, and if it still isn't them then it's the NCT shippers like you CANNOT escape it...what happened to shipping for fun? harry potter? harry and draco (I believe drarry stans lowkey) but why do kpop fans take it to this insane level...I will never know.

Many of us like to comment about how members of an "opposing" fandom are "mentally unwell" for saying mean things, fixating a bit much on fanwars etc etc, when usually it's just shit being slung in both directions.
But shippers, serious shippers, do genuinely come across as severely unhinged. Not completely all on upstairs. Not even in kpop fandoms, but in all fandoms, especially ones that involve real people. There just seems to be a mental unwellness with people that truly get into shipping.
