IVE album is fkn good

Hypnosis, Shine With Me, and Cherish go HARD af.

I don’t personally love all the songs yet, but my favourites are some of the most solid ones I’ve heard in years

I love 10/11

Still haven't decided which one my fav among that 10, but I am satisfied with their album

cherish, blue blood, hypnosis and lips are the best bside of the year

i am is a worthy title track, yujin and liz carried

i only like kitsch because i spammed the hell out of the song lmao

mine is another typical ballad, but i love its sentimentalism

not your girl is such a random and out of place summer-like track inserted between bops

heroine and next page is okay but quite generic, but definitely not fillers

shine with me is such an overrated snoozefest, props to wonyoung though

overall this is such a solid album, no fillers at all and i like how starship poured their heart and soul instead of reinserting old songs just to increase track count. tbh i had low expectations because i thought only liz / yujin would carry 90% of the album but surprisingly their vocal is dispersed among members and each member carried their vocal parts that suits them the most

leeseo surprised me the most because she showed her vocal in the area that she is most comfortable with, which is lower registers. she is still young and hopefully her vocal would develop further because as of now, her vocal sounds really fragile when she tries to sing high

personal favorite is definitely cherish and lips

Lips, Not my Girl, Blue Blood, Hypnosis are the standouts for me. It feels very 2nd gen album wise with how over the place it feels for me, but the grab bag approach as I call it can hide good tracks even if all the puzzle pieces don't work.

listening to an entire album is a lot of work for me tbh

i didn't like it as much as i thought but Blue blood seems REALLY good. i feel like ive fits these dark elegant concepts well like blue blood and my satisfaction

B sides have never been an Ive strong point, none of the B sides from the first three single albums made a mark. This time though, there were three that were bops or better, songs i would actively seek out or add to a playlist.

The rest are all 5 or below unfortunately, very forgettable.
