What's your opinion of the current state of girl groups this generation?

3 & 4 for me

We are being well served, there's something for everyone

I like a lot Itzy, G Idle, StayC and NJ, albeit G Idle and Itzy last releases were not for me (and I don't like Teddy bear either)

So NJ all the way atm

i like aespa and nmixx !

I'm impartial as I don't follow or care about the current girl group scene or the songs I've heard.

Good healthy competition and a sense that the genre is growing again

IVE, Newjeans and a bunch of nugus

Option #4 for me. I started out with 2nd gen, but since they're basically gone, I only care about 3rd gen groups now. The new ones have not hooked me at all.

4th gen ggs dominationnnnn

I noticed that girl groups from 4th gen gain a lot more popularity faster, even under a smaller company. I feel like people have stopped relying on the big 4 (HYBE, YG, JYP, SM) as much as they used to. This however brings a lot more competition, and need for success. Therefore I would say most gg’s in 4th gen are only short-time trends, because eventually the public will get tired and just not care about that respective group.
