Would idol politics matter if you stan/support them?

Not specific to right or left wing politics but I couldn't support anyone who knowingly and intentionally used their platform to spout rubbish that was completely against my own values.

Thing is 99.9% of our fave don't talk about politics so it is impossible for us to know their mind, Korean literally voted for conservative party so some of these idol bound to have their mindset as well..

I would like if kpop idols continued with this trend of not involving themselves heavily into politics.

This is very true and even everyone's beloved faves including my favorite BTS could be this way too. Many of us here in Korea had our reasons for electing the current president.

For “stanning” yeah it would matter. So it’s best that kpop idols don’t talk about politics and I can live in ignorance.

For just listening to music honestly I have no idea about the lives the people whose music comes on my playlists. I just listen to whatever.
