If it turns out to be true BTS isn't going to resign then I look at it as huge win for everyone involved.
1. Other groups get a chance to become great and known cause for the last 4 years BTS has paved the way for no one but themselves. With BTS retired America may start to realize not every Korean male they see on tv is a BTS member.
2. Hybe can finally move on and not have to rely on BTS their entire lives. Deep down Hybe still wants to be SM. They want that legacy of 20+ years in the industry with a dozen household name groups. Right now they are just a one group wonder.
3. BTS themselves can finally break free from the chains of fame. It can be like a prison when you are this famous. Just look at Michael Jackson. They will never live a normal life again but they will now be free to do whatever they want when they want.
4. Fans can now afford everyday things in life that the rest of us have been enjoying for decades. With all this new money saved from not buying albums and merchandise they can now buy food and gasoline, cereal and cabbage, video games and porn. A whole new world will open up for them.
5. Haters can now focus all their hate on Blackpink full time instead of splitting it 50/50. Cause let's be honest. Blackpink has been coasting on Boombyeya for 6 years now. And now spends more time on photoshoot sets than the recording studio. 2NE1 would NEVER.
