3rd Gen or 4th Gen girl groups--which do you prefer and why?

Well I'm really second gen but since it's not about them then third gen but only Twice. Not into other groups.

i love the 3rd gen but i'm curious about the future so i'll go with 4th gen

I'm like 2nd 3rd and 4th gen all mixed up

there's no reason for me to prefer a gen over the other

IVE and IZ ONE are the best ever to happen in 4th Gen

IVE as all visual group w Liz , Leeseo , Rei and Gaeul complete the IVE lineup

IZ ONE w Wonyoung , Yujin ,Yena and Minju

ITZY Lia Yeji ,G IDLE ,Newjeans ,STAYC, Le Sserafim especially w Garam

Somi still active as a soloist so that another pts for the 4th Gen
Yena also debut as soloist

I feel the 3rd Gen is too short specially the timeline of their discography that I like
and the main culprit of their downfall for me is change concept?

unless AOA ,EXID , Dalshabet, Stellar (peak) *Seolhyun
are from 3rd Gen it give a close fight

what standout for 4th Gen is my bias Wonyoung
is the IT Girl (the best) of her Gen
and IVE is all visual group

I pick 4th Gen win in split decision

Twice has more music than the entire 4th gen combined

I like third gen, not just because of music but because there wasn't a lot of that "exclusivity" vibe among groups

This is hard.

Gg-wise, 3rd gen is like when you see a nearly finished painting. Almost all of it was already there, their discography. Outside of big 3 ggs, there are many more bops. Heck, even roughly 3/4 of my 3rd gen playlist are made of from non big3. It's like a free all you can eat banquet.

But 4th gen is also interesting, they are just like a WIP painting, where the artists are just brushing out many colors here and there, and we can't grasp many details yet. 4th gen also having many fluctuation, like there are a wave of girl crush, and unusual mixxing, a sliver of cute, a strokes of teenage, a line of bold and strong color, elegance and innocence and a brush of 12 lovely colors. We even had more to come in the future!

But since I'm getting into Kpop because of 4th gen, I'll choose 4th gen!

Mamamoo and Red Velvet are my ultimate biases so it’s a quick choice for me. I also really love Twice and then Gfriend, Oh My girl, IOI, Gugudan, Lovelyz and WJSN.
