Why do gg not have the longevity of bg?

Bgs have stronger fan bases that will stay loyal for years and years even through scandals.

Ggs mainly rely on public and casuals, often their core fans don't last as long or move onto other ggs.

Female kpop fans are more prone to getting obsessed with BGs. Male kpop fans lose interest pretty easily comparatively, specially if there are younger/more attractive GGs that come out.

Top3 3r gen GG's seem to be lasting more than 2n gen ones but even within those companies male groups, old or new have the upperhand (unless they enlisting)

Real thing I will tell you which people won't. Their fanbases still exist, but women goals change when they hit late 20s and early 30s. Many remain passionate about career but many members want to focus on marriage, kids and dont want to perform week in week out. Some move to solo careers and being actress.

Asian Society even in 21st century still expect women to fulfil these roles and even celebs have this on their mindset. Even if you say they marry rich men on their level of wealth, they are still expected to be behind him in order. Same reason I didn't get marry because every man I dated in end didn't want to compromise their career, goals which is ok but issue is I was expected to adjust my life goals and have kids. They were very open at start, but when their mommy boys instinct comes in place, they change colors. Take care of future kids was expected to be my responsibility. Some women don't mind it. Some of us do who want to travel, enjoy life.

Same goes for female idols. Twice are showing that even if gp is fickle, they can still have massive fandom and earn millions.

For the same reason that Boy Groups outlast Female Groups globally.
