Seems like Orbit and Loona made an impact on the idol industry?

  • nice, now also add regular wages,

if minimal one is about 2M Korean Won per month then it should be like that

6 member gg then should get 12M Korean Won per month

that gives 144M Korean Won for year = just 124k $ for a year...

and don't allow people with not secured big budget to debut groups

  • The politicians don't give two cents about idol issues.

But Lee Seunggi is an idol among the adults which is why they are paying attention.

Christ! You win, Loona is a nobody while I'm sure the entire nation of Korea worships the ground Lee Seungree walks on. He is a God of God's who can move mountains. Happy?

I'm just glad these issues are being addressed. Even if Loona isn't worthy of yours or any politicians attention they are still humans and were just kids when they got taken advantage of. They deserve the same compassion as the "adult" does. I was happy to see Hook finally be held accountable for their greed and I'll be equally happy to see BBC pay for their corruption.

The BBC clan used to be defense contractors, which means they know some stuff the defense bigwigs would rather keep silent. They won't be touched.

  • I think it was Seunggi, buuuut Loona/Chuu case ALSO blowing it up with the same issue for sure made some impact.

Those running Korea don't pay any attention to idol groups, as seen in the BTS mess.

But Lee Seunggi is well liked among the older pop of Korea and is well known.

He does matter among those running Korea. Others in his category include people like Yoo Jaesuk, and , unfortunately, also Lee Jieun.

Uhm, i kinda agree. To change laws etc unfortunately I doubt an idol group has this much "influence" as they simply don't care. It must be someone big enough to cause changes.

And yet none of these male celebs you've mentioned we're given an exemption or atleast in the running candidate for exemptions...

BTS being in the candidate for exemptions for years and been given an extension is enough influence not that it was needed to be said lol. Not even PSY was granted an extension for 2 years. Just FYI, no public figures have been given an exemption except classical musicians or athletes and that was because it was MANDATED ages ago. Politicians can't really just make a NEW law for BTS when it comes to military exemption because then they would also have to consider other celebs or it would be seen as BIAS towards BTS (atlthough we alr know gov. wants BTS to be exempted). The BTS enlistment is already contrversial amongst the GP as already as it is. Angering male incels would be a damaged for their reputation and votes wise.

That was not the case for some soccer players and baseball players. That was done by Presidential order.
