lettuce is like 20 bucks now
I cant eat salad anymore lmao
Im trying to sub cabbage, cause its not as bad up there
It's HORRIBLE. Everything has doubled or tripled the price in months.
Simple chicken is now about 11/12€ kilo, while less than one year about was 8€ and don't even get me started on fish... vegetables are more expensive than ever, potatoes as well (I've never seen 1kg potatoes at more than 1€ until this year), bread has become also too expensive... I wonder what will happen next year, but I hope I get a raise in my salary, especially if gas prices keep rising..
Off topic: your sig is attacking me!
On topic: I haven't seen prices go up much at all, but I get all my groceries at Costco. They always have good prices.

At the moment vegetable oil is going the highest after milk and milk-products
in January vegetable oil 1l bottle was 99cent-1,29€ depending on the brand and today it is 3,99€-4,99€ WTF man
and many stores even banned Mars (the company) from their stores cause Snickers and other items turned too expensive and they don't want their customer to overpay on chocolate. Banning Mars also means that many stores also can't sell brands like Whiskas, Pedigree and so on... who are all part of Mars.
The most of products are 10 - 30% more expensive. Flour is highest + 45%
Inflation in our country is around 8% which is lower than average in eu. Interesting part is that our neighbouring country Estonia got over 20% inflation and their groceries are even more expensive than ours. We used to buy cheap product from Estonia before, but now they come our country to buy cheaper product.
I have 1 store in my city btw who took it to a whole other level
Toffifee costs 1,49€-1,69€ depending on store now (in I think 2018 you payed less than 1€ om it) and they have a sign up that says 1 pack is 2,99€ (wich it shouldn't be). I asked an employee once and he said that it is of cause wrong, but 3 months later and the wrong pricing in still up ... in a fucking LIDL

Even where I live goverment said groceries have gone up by 8 percent which is fucking bullshit.
Almost everything cost twice as much as it did a year ago.
I used to comfortably spend 200 bucks monthly and even buy myself treats.
Now 350 barely cuts the essentials
